I bought this Yamaha intermediate tenor saxophone (YTS-475) during my last examination period. At the time, I wasn't sure that I would be able to get my money's worth out of the instrument; there are only so many hours in a day, after all. I suppose it might not have been the most productive use of my study time, but playing the saxophone is the only activity that's been able to make me feel relaxed recently. I used to play video games, but I can't play them without scolding myself for wasting time. Playing the saxophone just feels productive I suppose, and you can't really spend your time thinking about all your problems while you're sight-reading. Heck, even playing long tones makes me feel better.
Time to play the sax, I suppose.
